Taking a group fitness class is a great way to stay active, improve your health and immerse yourself in a fun, social environment.

Fitjoy has some of the best group exercise classes so why not try something new?  Here are a few classes that offer a wide range of fitness that suits all ages and fitness levels. 

Arms and Abs Fridays  @ 9:30 am

A class that focuses on your upper body.  All fitness levels can benefit from this class and you can work at your own pace.  A fun class with some serious exercise to get those arms and abs into shape.

HIIT Session - Sunday 7 PM

High-intensity interval training (HIIT) is a type of cardio training in which you alternate short, very high-intensity intervals with longer, slower intervals to recover. This type of training has been used by athletes to improve performance, but it’s also been shown to benefit the average exerciser. HIIT training not only helps performance, it also improves the ability of the muscles to burn fat. All Fitness levels welcome.

Monday Strong - Mondays 6:40 PM 

The non-dance, high-intensity, Bootcamp class is unlike any you’ve tried before. Think high knees, punches, squats, burpees, spider man pushups, and other high-impact moves.  No dancing, no equipment, just STRONG! 

Dance workout - Thursdays  10 AM

A fun and easy to follow energy filled dance workout incorporating a variety of music and styles which is sure to get you moving!! For all levels of fitness.

Instructor of the Month

Welcome Chantelle! 

Chantelle took over the Street Dance sessions on Tuesdays. 

Small Routines learnt each week, lots of team games to kept the kids active. 

Routines to the lastest music in the charts which the kids can sing along to.  

The children do a performance at the end of each term. 

We have had some great feedback from the kids.. 

Brooke ages 7 say "Chantelle is such a fun instructor I love the routines we learn and look forward to Tuesdays !! "

Wow !! 

Naomi has lost 2 STONE lbs !!! 

We want to congratulation Naomi for all her hard work. She is looking amazing feeling great and her fitness has fed improved since starting Fitjoy. Naomi tells us a little about herself 

"I started back in October with Fitjoy but just dabbled in the odd class here and there. In January I joined with the £40 for 2 months ( such great value for money)! And have signed up monthly now which is still brilliant value for money considering I do 3-4 classes a week.

Since January I have lost 2 stone and 2 lbs
I feel fitter, healthier, stronger and of course can see a massive difference in my clothes which is fab!

The classes I love are Clubbercise, Zumba, Zumba Tone, have recently tried strong by Zumba and kettlebells, I prefer the dance style classes as feels like time goes really quickly and I love learning a new routine. it's great to know there are options like kettle bells/ box fit etc that will take me out of my comfort zone and challenge me more as I still have a way to go with with fitness and weight.

 Everyone at Fitjoy is extremely friendly and welcoming, there is such a mix of ages, shapes, abilities and everyone seems to really support each other. The instructors are amazing! Natalie, Mel, Sophie and Jo are easy to follow, great fun, and always show us how to make it harder/ easier which is fab! I really look forward to the classes in the evenings and hope to try out Jo's dance fit soon too. Its also great to not have to prebook classes, with two young children sometimes it's difficult to plan in advance!

I tell everyone about Fitjoy as over the years I have tried most classes, gym etc and these are by far the most fun and best value for money that I have come across!"
