Instructor of the Month

Welcome Chantelle! 

Chantelle took over the Street Dance sessions on Tuesdays. 

Small Routines learnt each week, lots of team games to kept the kids active. 

Routines to the lastest music in the charts which the kids can sing along to.  

The children do a performance at the end of each term. 

We have had some great feedback from the kids.. 

Brooke ages 7 say "Chantelle is such a fun instructor I love the routines we learn and look forward to Tuesdays !! "

Wow !! 

Naomi has lost 2 STONE lbs !!! 

We want to congratulation Naomi for all her hard work. She is looking amazing feeling great and her fitness has fed improved since starting Fitjoy. Naomi tells us a little about herself 

"I started back in October with Fitjoy but just dabbled in the odd class here and there. In January I joined with the £40 for 2 months ( such great value for money)! And have signed up monthly now which is still brilliant value for money considering I do 3-4 classes a week.

Since January I have lost 2 stone and 2 lbs
I feel fitter, healthier, stronger and of course can see a massive difference in my clothes which is fab!

The classes I love are Clubbercise, Zumba, Zumba Tone, have recently tried strong by Zumba and kettlebells, I prefer the dance style classes as feels like time goes really quickly and I love learning a new routine. it's great to know there are options like kettle bells/ box fit etc that will take me out of my comfort zone and challenge me more as I still have a way to go with with fitness and weight.

 Everyone at Fitjoy is extremely friendly and welcoming, there is such a mix of ages, shapes, abilities and everyone seems to really support each other. The instructors are amazing! Natalie, Mel, Sophie and Jo are easy to follow, great fun, and always show us how to make it harder/ easier which is fab! I really look forward to the classes in the evenings and hope to try out Jo's dance fit soon too. Its also great to not have to prebook classes, with two young children sometimes it's difficult to plan in advance!

I tell everyone about Fitjoy as over the years I have tried most classes, gym etc and these are by far the most fun and best value for money that I have come across!"

Congratulations Juliet Clark...

We have all decided Juliet has put so much effort into all of her classes at Fitjoy. 

We have noticed your technique in Kettlebells has really improved ! 

we have also noticed you are coming to a wide range of classes to improve your fitness stamina... Including the more difficuilt sessions such as Strong and HIIT. 

We think your doing a great job .. So keep it going

Instructor of the month - Mel !

Mel does it again ! she is our star instructor of Febuary! 

We are grateful to mel for all her fabulous classes.. We can see how much effort she  puts in to making up her routines and keeping us fit! 

Mel had the most attendance in her Zumba and HIIT classes last month. 

we can see how passionate Mel is about her fitness classes as she always tags and posts about us on Facebook ...

Congratulations Clare Bear

Wow Clare you look fantastic ! 

We would like to congratulate Clare Bear for all her efforts with her weight loss journey she has now lost over 2 stone.. 

I was introduced to James Temple to start Personal Training, I thought if I don't set myself a goal, I would never do !!

I Have to admit it was a huge step for me as I have not exercised in years. So I was very apprehensive initially , but I have to say it was the best decision I ever made. James made me very welcome and I am loving the sessions. Even my Physio has remarked what a huge difference it has made to my physique and feeling so much better, so much more energy and fitter. Clare has also been working with wellness coach Jennie Bradley using Herbalife to help with the incrediable results ...

 The motivation, encouragement and support from James and Jennie has been amazing. It has truly changed my life completely. Loving this xx ❤️????? ❤️

5 Benefits of Group Exercise

The Five Benefits of Group Exercise. 

There are lots of benefits to group exercise .. both for experience fitness goers and for people just getting into fitness. The allocated time of the session means you can't get distracted with work/family or chores when your there for an hour you work out for that hour. There is lots of support in a group classes and you will get great results .. heres why... 

1. Accountable/ Motivation - When your in a class enviroment being surrounded by others helps provide accountablity and motivation. The loud music helps you keep up with the combinations, Watching your skilled instructor and other people in the class will motivate you to keep up with the pace. 

2. Inreased Enegry - Whatever class you choose from the instructors encourgement and enthusasim will help you feel energised. The release of the endorphines will keep you feelng energised for the rest of your day. Your be more productive at work and generally more happy. 

3. Improve your technique - In a group class you have access to a fitness professional. This person will be spotting your technique and offering alternatives, progressions and feedback on your technique. Instructors are friendly and approachable and always on hand at the end of the sessions for any questions. This will increase your confidence.

4. Socialise / Build freindships and community - You have the opportunity to meet others, share tips and feel part of something. 

5. Variation - Instructors do all the planning! They make up the class material to make sure you get a well rounded workout. Instructors are passionate about getting you results.
